SteadyCounsel is an AI-powered legal communication assistant designed for individuals navigating high-conflict family law matters. The service provides:
- Pattern detection in co-parenting communications
- Response drafting using evidence-based de-escalation methods
- Document analysis and organization for legal proceedings
- Synchronization with co-parenting platforms you connect

SteadyCounsel is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Our AI analysis and response suggestions are informational tools to help you communicate more effectively. They do not constitute legal counsel. Always consult with a licensed attorney for legal decisions.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of data you upload
- You must review all AI-generated responses before sending them
- You agree not to use the service for harassment, threats, or illegal activity
- You maintain sole responsibility for all communications sent from your accounts
4. Subscription and Billing
- Free tier: Limited queries per month, basic pattern detection
- Pro tier: Unlimited queries, full Yellow Rock drafting, auto-sync, voice registry
- Annual billing is encouraged (discount applied automatically)
- Cancel anytime; access continues through the end of your billing period
- Refunds handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of charge
5. Data Retention
Active accounts: Data is retained as long as your account is active.
Cancelled accounts: We remove your data from our systems after cancellation. Third-party providers may retain data for a period under their own policies before it is purged.
You may request deletion at any time by contacting support. Self-service deletion is being built; until it ships, we handle these requests manually.
6. Limitation of Liability
SteadyCounsel provides tools to assist with communication strategy. We are not liable for:
- Legal outcomes based on AI-generated suggestions
- Misinterpretation of communications by courts or opposing parties
- Service interruptions due to third-party provider outages
- Data loss beyond our reasonable control
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
